Whether it’s in the booth, in the press box or on the sidelines, Krissy Birdsall is a dynamic presence in the sports journalism industry as a sports broadcaster, reporter and host.

Krissy has experience covering wide array of sports — including football, basketball, hockey, soccer, softball and volleyball — across digital, social, audio, linear and editorial platforms.

Currently, Krissy is the Radio Production Graduate Associate for the Orlando Magic, serving as a producer and coordinator for all Orlando Magic radio broadcasts during the 2025-26 season.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Krissy traded the sunny beaches of the Jersey Shore for the Frozen Tundra of Wisconsin, earning degrees in Journalism and Spanish with certificates in Digital Studies and Sports Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

During her time in Madison, Krissy covered Wisconsin Athletics as a play-by-play broadcaster, sideline reporter and radio host for WSUM 91.7 FM and Big Ten Plus. She also served as a producer at ESPN Madison, producing daily sports talk shows and live sports broadcasts on-air, on social media and across other digital platforms.

In the offseason, Krissy likes to explore her interests in photography, running, music and traveling.
